How the model works
Ratings are built from every NFL game since 2002 and only ever use games played before kickoff. Each prediction shows its adjustments for home field, rest and byes, travel, quarterback changes and injuries, and the Model page reports the walk-forward backtest honestly, including where the model falls short of the closing line.
