What we collect, and when

• When you ask for an access code: the email address you type. With it we record the time, the page you were on, the version of the form you saw, and the country and region your request came from. If you tap it, we also record which sportsbook you use (PlayNow or another). Your IP address is not stored in our database. Our host's request logs, which are kept for a short time, may hold it.
• When the access form is shown or opened: anonymous daily counts, by the kind of page. We also count, per day, how many times a code was refused and how many form submissions our spam filter dropped. These counts hold nothing about you.
• When you unlock with a code: the time, the country your request came from and the code that was used. After that, an anonymous record of the days your browser checked in. It is tied to the code, not to your email address.

To stop abuse, requests to the access form are counted per IP address, or per network for an IPv6 address, for a short time. The address is not saved with your email or anywhere in our database.

What stays in your browser

Your settings, bets, bankroll and watchlist are kept in your browser's local storage, on your device. They are not sent to us. Once you unlock, an access token is kept there too, and your browser sends it back to us to check that the code is still good.

Clearing this site's data in your browser removes all of it. The site's own code sets no cookies.

Why

To send you the access code you asked for, and to count how many people want access. We do not use the list for advertising, and we do not sell or share it.

Where it is kept

Cloudflare hosts the site and the database. Like any host, it processes the requests your browser makes and keeps short-lived logs. We send access codes by email by hand, so our email provider also holds your address, and we use software tools to manage the list. They handle this information only to provide those services to us.

The app's pages load fonts from Google Fonts, and player photos and some team logos from ESPN, so your browser asks those services for them directly. This page loads none of them.

How long

Until you ask us to remove you, or until the list is no longer needed.
